Unfolding Creativity: An Insight Circle
A nourishing space to slow down, breathe, and let your creativity unfold
Is your mind scattered? Body tired? Creativity out of reach?
So many of us are so busy rushing, thinking, doing and we rarely give ourselves space to simply be.
No wonder we ache for a pause… a moment to let go, breathe and reconnect with our own energy.
Part circle, part sanctuary, this 2-hour workshop is a chance to step out of your head and into connection… with yourself, your inner spark of creativity, and a community of curious souls.
What to expect:
Shake off the heaviness with gentle movement (yoga inspired, but no experience needed)
Reflect with prompts to help you see things in a new light
Play with creativity (writing, doodling, collage or whatever feels good) to quieten overthinking and uncover clarity and insight.
You’ll leave feeling lighter, your spark a little brighter, and your creativity flowing again.
Part of the Metamorph-ish exhibition at the TAP Gallery, this special Insight Circle invites you to pause and step into a space of presence, creativity, and connection.

What does an Insight Circle experience feel like?
-
… and are captured by the soft lighting, the cosy cushions and thoughtfully arranged mats. It’s warm and welcoming. Unrushed. Just being in the room, something deep inside you exhales.
-
… inviting you to arrive and be present with grounding breaths and the most nourishingly simple movements. You’re guided inward with tenderness, to notice how you’re feeling, not through the lens of critique but with love and compassion. A rare and welcome break from the usual pressure you put yourself through.
-
…you begin to soften, the tension you’ve been carrying slowly loosening its grip. Thoughts that once raced through your mind begin to settle as you pour them onto the page, old patterns surfacing with fresh clarity. Some people gently rise to share, while others choose the quiet of listening. You feel no pressure either way, only warmth and acceptance. As you listen, their stories land like echoes of your own. Even in silence, you feel seen, heard, and held in a shared understanding that needs no explanation.
-
…something begins to shift. You stop pushing past your own needs and start honouring them with care and compassion. Self-care takes on new meaning, beyond bubble baths and surface-level fixes. A deep desire for a more honest tending to who you are and what truly sustains you is pulsing.
-
Time bends. Clarity begins to rise, and with it, the space to dream, to imagine, to feel fully alive again.
By the end, something deep within has shifted… your body feels lighter, your soul more grounded. You leave with a renewed sense of clarity and connection, realigned with yourself in a way that feels steady and true.
There is this moment, maybe halfway through, where you realise you aren't clenching your jaw or bracing anymore. You felt calm in a way you haven’t felt in months
Who runs the Insight Circles?
That would be me. Hi! I’m Jo.
I’m an Embodied Insights Coach who loves to create spaces for people to pause, breath and reconnect with their inner spark.
For more than two decades I’ve been walking alongside people through change, in workplaces, in leadership, and in life. These days, I weave together all of my passions into my work including facilitation, coaching psychology, art, yoga therapy, and my lived experience as a queer, neurodivergent human.
Insight Circles grew from something I desperately needed and couldn’t find… spaces that feel safe and nurturing. Places where you don’t have to fix yourself, find the perfect words, or “get it right.” Where reflection happens in the body, not just the head. Where you can simply show up as you are, beautifully messy, curious, tired, hopeful, or over it… all of you is welcome.
Because, and I believe this to my core, the more we learn to trust our own inner spark, the more everything else in life begins to fall into place.
