Lead differenlty

Think better together. Have the conversations that matter. Find a clearer way forward.

Something needs to change... maybe its that your people are working hard, but they aren't really working well together.

Perhaps the decisions you make are agreed to, but there's no real sense of commitment or follow-through.

Or maybe there are issues in the team, that everyone knows about, but nobody is actually addressing.

This type of change requires more than sitting through yet another meeting with a fancy PowerPoint presentation.

How do you start to lead your team differently?

When teams becomes stuck in patterns like these, the first step is to stop and take the time to find out what's actually happening.

Listen to what people are saying, and explore what's not being said.

Take a look at the patterns that keep repeating and the assumptions that shape how people think and operate.

Because until you understand what's really getting in the way, it's difficult to know what needs to change

Once you can see what's happening more clearly, you can start to break the cycle, have the conversations that matter and find better ways to work together.

This is the work I love to do.

The things that people don't say matter because the problem you see often isn't the whole problem.

I help leaders and their teams

  • have the difficult conversations

  • work through unresolved issues

  • navigate change even when there isn't a clear path forward

  • challenge assumptions and generate new thinking

  • make sense of and shift team dynamics

While patterns and assumptions shape how teams operate, better conversations can change what becomes possible.

Getting to the heart of whats needed

I don't arrive with pre-built answers or perfectly put together PowerPoint slides.

Instead, I bring curiosity, insight and just enough challenge to help people move beyond passive agreement, notice what’s happening in the room, and work with the real dynamics that shape behaviour.

I listen closely to what's not being said. I notice the patterns and ask the questions to help shift the way you're looking at your situation. I make it easier to say the thing that needs to be said.

And then I help you turn that insight into something practical. While insight is interesting, it’s what you do with it that matters.

For over 25 years, I’ve helped leaders understand what’s really happening between their people, their work and the results they’re trying to achieve. Because the human stuff and the business stuff are rarely separate.

Decision
Making

Leaders need to make a critical decision, but are seeing things differently and aren’t able to reach agreement.

Organisational Leadership

Executives need to work together as organisational leaders, not just as functional experts.

Employee
Feedback

Leaders need to work out what's really going on and what to do about it the issues raised.

Change
Leadership

The organisation is moving through major change, and leaders need help guiding their teams through what it actually means.

Leading
Through Others

Leaders are stepping into broader, more complex roles and need to shift from having the answers to leading through others.

Breaking
Patterns

A team is stuck in a familiar problem and needs to challenge its assumptions before deciding what to do next.

Hey, I'm Jo

For more than two decades, I’ve been working with human behaviour, leadership, and organisational change, helping people and systems evolve from the inside out.

Through my professional and lived experience, I’ve learned so much about what happens when smart, capable people spend years adapting, achieving, leading and holding everything together, at the expense of themselves.

I bring all of that experience into my work, alongside coaching psychology, change leadership, embodied awareness and creative expression.

READY TO LEAD DIFFERENTLY?

You don't need a neatly defined problem.

If you know something isn't working, that's enough to have a conversation.

Let me know what you're thinking about and we can figure out what needs attention and where to go from there.
