Partway through an Insight Circle, you'll experience the most beautiful unfurling.
You notice your jaw isn't clenched. The muscles in your shoulders are softening. A sense of calm is washing over you.
You realise that in this moment, you don't have to keep pushing. You can pause, breathe and let yourself be where you are.
This is the reason I created Insight Circles.
Because we need supportive spaces where we can slow down, stretch out, breathe, reflect, and reconnect with life.
Soft lighting and cosy cushions invite you to settle in and get comfortable. The circle begins with simple movements that encourage you to get out of your head be present in the moment.
Some people share their thoughts and experiences, while others choose the quiet of listening. There's no pressure either way.
As the experience unfolds
Chronic tension begins to melt.
Your jaw unclenches. Your breath deepens. The tightness griping your body starts to release.
Mental clutter transforms into clarity.
The noise quiets. Your thoughts untangle. You start to see what really matters… and what can wait.
Overwhelm becomes insight.
Instead of forcing answers, you listen in. Your own wisdom rises. Your thinking becomes clear and more confident.
Burnout gives way to inner alignment.
You stop pushing and start tending to what you need, and what actually sustains you.

Insight Circles are for anyone who has been juggling too much, is running on autopilot and craving something more real and restorative.
Whether you’re trans, neurodivergent, queer, introverted, burned out, or just quietly craving space to feel, you are so very welcome here.
Usually 10 people, I like to keep the group sizes relatively small.
I plan for 2 hours of guided practice. The doors open 15 minutes before the scheduled start time, and there’s time to gather and chat over a cup of tea afterwards.
I run in-person Insight Circles in two locations. Gadigal Land, in Newtown near the Sydney, CBD. Bundjalung Arakwal Country in the Byron hinterland is our newest location. Online Insight Circles are coming soon.
Anything comfortable that you can move and sit in easily. Layers are great in case the room is warm or cool. No need for any fancy yoga clothes unless that feels good for you. And if you don't have time to head home and change after work come in whatever you're already dressed in.
Nope. There’s never any pressure to speak or participate. Listening is just as powerful. And sometimes relaxing in the space is all you need.
Not in the traditional sense as I include a range of other activities. A typical circle will include guided breathwork, gentle movement, reflective journaling, and space for optional sharing.
We can easily work with that. I can make sure chairs are available, or you can bring your own if you have specific needs. You’re encouraged to do whatever helps you feel supported and comfortable, whether that’s sitting, lying down, or adjusting the movement as needed.
No. While it is likely to feel deeply healing, this is not therapy or coaching. It’s a space to pause, stretch, reflect, and reconnect with what's important to you.
You don't need to be artistic or creative at all. The journaling and creative bits are about expression, not art or outcomes. And they are completely personal. They are for you to explore your creativity, and you don’t have to share with anyone if you don't want to.
Absolutely! Yes. 100%. Insight Circles are held with care, trauma-awareness, and genuine inclusivity.
No. Being a yoga therapist, I am guided by the teachings and philosophies of yoga philosophies including the foundational yamas and niyamas.
I draw on these as a way for us to see how we think about and relate to ourselves, each other and the world, without requiring them to be strict rules of life.
You’re welcome and encouraged to bring your own meaning to the concepts we explore, whether that’s spiritual, secular, or somewhere in between.
There’s a gentle structure to guide the experience and there’s loads of room for you to adjust the experience to do what feels best for you.
You’re free to step out or take a break at any point. You won’t be judged or called out. This is your time, and you’re always in charge. I will check in with you to make sure you're ok, without being intrusive.
